Board Introductions at Zed's 2024
We appreciate the support at our event at Zed's!
On June 18, 2025 Prepare2Vote partnered with Stono Public Affairs for a panel discussion on how to bridge the gap between us and our government. In conclusion, we have to turn up the volume on good information, and we have to take the information to the people.
We’ll let you know what’s next!
Some of what we talked about…
Panelist Christine Shipley recalled talking with constituents during an internship with a Congressman. One call came from a woman who wanted her Congressman to address an issue she felt was very important. Her neighbor left her dogs out, barking late at night.
Government offices can be a vital resource, assisting with a wide range of issues, but it’s important to know who to call to get the help you need. Our goal is to connect the dots for everyday people like the one Christine spoke to years ago, so when you have noisy neighbors you know the Mayor’s office can be helpful in local situations, but not your Congressperson.
